Caridon Landlord Solutions shortlisted in Negotiator Awards

Caridon Landlord Solutions, part of the Caridon Group, has been shortlisted for a Negotiator Award under the category Supplier of the Year: Professional Support. Caridon Group has also been shortlisted for Community Champion of the Year.

Established 15 years ago, The Negotiator Awards holds its position as the UK's foremost independent awards programme, celebrating excellence within the estate and letting agent industry, as well as recognising the contributions of suppliers and the wider residential property sector. Known for its unwavering commitment to fairness and transparency, these awards have evolved into the most prestigious and coveted accolades for the best in UK estate and letting agency.

Announcing the 2023 shortlist, Publishing Director Grant Leonard said, “The significance and importance of the Awards is reflected in yet another year of high-quality entries, underlining this as the leading awards programme in the sector.”

He continued, “We have a panel of 30 of the most experienced, achieved and respected people in the industry. It includes the CEOs and representatives of Propertymark, Safeagent, RICS and NRLA, and some of the most senior and most accomplished individuals from all aspects of UK residential agency. Our judging process is the most robust, open and transparent process of any property awards, meaning that winning really demonstrates to the industry that the accolade ‘the best’ is truly meaningful.”

Commenting on the announcement of the shortlist, Sherrelle Collman, Managing Director of Caridon Landlord Solutions, said: “I’m really proud that Caridon Landlord Solutions has been shortlisted for an award. The last few years have been the toughest ever experienced by private landlords and we’ve seen first-hand how this has impacted landlords and tenants. Landlords are facing an enormous amount of new legislation with the incoming Renters Reform Bill, and this comes at a time when they are being financially challenged by rising interest rates and higher maintenance costs. Our team has worked extremely hard to support as many landlords as possible who have tenants on UC or Housing Benefit, so it is nice to have the opportunity to reflect that in an award entry and be recognised through becoming a finalist. The challenges that landlords face in the current market are unprecedented but there is still huge demand so we hope to continue working with government to find solutions which help support a fluid PRS ”

The Awards presentation, a black-tie gala dinner hosted by a top celebrity and attended by 1000 property professionals from across the UK, takes place in the evening of The Negotiator Conference & Expo, the key annual networking event for the residential property industry. This year it will bring together the leading associations, politicians, sector specialists and coaches to share expertise and knowledge with 500 agent delegates. As property professionals face perhaps their most difficult year in decades, the focus is on practical steps and advice to sharpen and streamline their businesses, to take on the challenges of 2024 and come out ahead.
